- you have abnormal vaginal discharge (bleeding or otherwise) including bleeding after sexual intercourse, hematuria (blood in your urine), bleeding from the anus,

- you are experiencing back pain severe enough for you to need pain-killers,

- you have recently undergone surgery,

- you have symptoms of bladder, vaginal, or urinary tract infection are present,

- you have a history of urinary retention or symptoms thereof,

- you are pregnant,

- you have given birth within the last 6 weeks,

- you have neurological issues such as difficulties controlling your muscles, numbness, loss of sensitivity,

- you have severe pelvic pain or muscle spasms, new pain after menopause, or the appearance of a mass or lump in the pelvis,

- you have hypertonic pelvic floor (muscles in the pelvic floor becoming too tense and are unable to relax), vaginismus,

- you have moderate to severe prolapse, and you have not yet consulted a medical professional,

- you are allergic to medical-grade silicone.

Using Perifit in these situations may affect an underlying condition. Consult a medical professional before using the Perifit for any of these situations.

NO. For ethical reasons, Perifit has not been tested on pregnant women, and therefore the impact of using a connected Kegel trainer during pregnancy is not known.

As a result, we recommend that you do your Kegel exercises without a device throughout your pregnancy, and return to Perifit 6 to 8 weeks after childbirth, after getting clearance from your healthcare professional.

However, you should first get your surgeon's approval. The timing of your recovery and the appropriate exercise volume will vary from one woman to the next according to the surgical procedure and overall hysterectomy recovery.

NO. Unfortunately, Perifit doesn't have an effect on endometriosis or reduce the pain associated with endometriosis.

Yes, you can use Perifit with an IUD (or coil). Our Kegel trainer is covered by a sleeve of medical grade silicone which prevents any contact with internal parts, so entirely safe to use with a coil/IUD.

YES. Perifit communicates with your device using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). BLE waves are 1000 times less powerful than those emitted by a regular 4G smartphone. As of today, BLE is even used in pacemakers and other implanted devices.

YES. Pelvic floor training is a powerful tool to treat stress incontinence, urge incontinence, and mixed incontinence. Studies have shown that about 3/4 of women with stress incontinence, and about 2/3 of women with urge or other incontinence, will benefit from improved symptoms with regular pelvic floor exercise. Since not all cases of incontinence are caused by a weak pelvic floor, getting a diagnosis with a health practitioner to determine the root cause of your incontinence symptoms will help you maximize the chances of using the most effective treatment for you.

Please keep in mind that no matter the delivery type, you should get your pelvic floor checked post-pregnancy by a medical specialist.

No. The Perifit does not provide electro-stimulation. When you voluntarily contract your pelvic floor muscles, the force sensors in the Perifit allow you to visualize your contractions within the app.

Some people with a very weak pelvic floor (due to injury or an underlying condition) may benefit from electrostimulation before being able to perform voluntary pelvic floor muscle contractions. If you think this may appy to you, you should reach out to a pevic healthcare practitioner.

Perifit+: The shape and size of Perifit+ facilitate training in a variety of positions, including sitting or standing. You may need to experiment to find the best position for you.

Frequency and duration of use depends on each individual. A recommendation is to start by playing 3 to 5 ten-minute sessions per week. Do not exceed this time.

The return period depends on the product you ordered. Returns are free of charge. If you want to make a return, just contact us via support@perifit.co and ask for a return label. All returned products are destroyed and recycled. No returned products are stored or refurbished.

Perifit/ Perifit+: You have 100 trial days after receiving your probe to request a return and get a full refund on your order.

Perifit Pump: You have 30 days after delivery to try and return your breast pump free of charge if it does not fit.

Accessories: You have 30 days after delivery to return any accessories ordered, as long as they have not been opened (bottles, silicone parts, flanges).
